From fair to excellent!!!
When I got the cable and plug it into my MVP-861 player I honestly felt disappointed!!. I didn't notice much of improvement, only little better mids and not sure about highs. But low frequencies decreased. Im not a bass lover but i like it with moderation. Some 60 days before I bought some AC-9 cables and in my amp particularly notice a huge improvement from the beginning. the processor took a while, electrostatic speakers longer and subwoofer a while to sound great. I loved these cables so had great expectations from the AC-14SE for my source.

Well, the only reason I keep the AC-14SE was that from my last experience with my electrostatic speakers it took some days to shine, and eventually the cables did. Now with this AC-14SE, at first you will be letdown, but with time it begins to give you what you expect... and more!!!
