EXACTLY what I needed...Works GREAT!!!
I use a Roku box to stream private channels, netflix, etc to my TV's because it allowed me to cancel my cable service and save the money every month. The private channel for some streaming sources online did not work correctly using the Roku because of problems with private apps (not the fault of Roku)........In order to solve this I needed to be able to stream directly from a computer to my TV in order to prevent the problems and to completely "fill the void" of my needed entertainment possibilities. I had an older netbook that I never really needed after I purchased it a year ago laying around. Only problem was that it did not have hdmi output so I had no way of connecting it to my TV. This connected to the usb on my netbook and allowed me to connect to my TV with perfect success. Now everything is complete with my steaming to TV and things could not be better.
